My Little Valentine | Baltimore Toddler Photographer
Our Christmas card was well received at my son Wesley's school, so I figured I should try to do something special for Valentine's Day. I'll reveal the final card design on Valentine's Day, but for now, you'll have to just enjoy some of the images from our session. But trust me, it is going to be a very sweet card!
My Funny Valentine | Baltimore Child Photographer
One of my favorite models, Kira, is turning 4 soon. Since Valentine's Day is coming up, our session ended up having two themes. Sweet Kira did a great job resisting all kinds of treats we had for our session. We did a few images with Hershey's Kisses and a heart shaped lollipop, but it was the cup cake we used for her birthday shots that she found irresistible. Lucky for her, mom let her have one when we were done.

Sweet, Sweet Baby | Baltimore Newborn Baby Photographer
I almost caught a case of baby fever after this session. Sweet baby John was so tiny and warm and had the cutest little whimper of a cry. Err... I mean, it was very manly for a baby, but not shrill or even very loud. It was the cutest cry I've heard in a long time! And the color of his fine baby hair reminded me of my own little baby (who is now two). John was so easygoing, letting me play with some of my new props and a few new lighting techniques. He is a long little guy though! I tried one prop that worked with a 10 ponder, but John was too long for it! But he didn't put up much of a fuss at all! It is funny how even as a tiny newborn their personalities are so apparent already. I do hope John continues to be a laid back easy going kind of guy - and I just know those eyes are going to be blue!

Amazing Grace | Maryland Event Photographer Gail Montgomery
If you follow the blog, you might remember this newborn, baby Max. When his parents asked me if I would consider driving to Virginia to photograph his Baptism, of course I said YES! I have gotten so many wonderful comments from his newborn session, I had to see how much he has grown since then. He was still a delightful baby, all smiles when we met up at the church. The service was all in Romanian, which made it a little challenging to follow along, but absolutely beautiful to listen to and watch. It was a long day for the guest of honor, but he allowed me a few moments to get a quick portrait. And I'm sure he had a great nap after all that activity!

On the trail...
After our mini session the other day with Alexander, I still had the rocking horse set up in the studio. I recieved some new lighting equipment and was excited to try out some new techniques. Wesley wasn't entirely on board with being a model this day, but we still got some good stuff out of our moments in the studio. And he was greatly rewarded with some cookies for being such a cute cowboy!

Wild Horses
The elusive toddler can be difficult to corral. I found a way to rope this little cowboy in for a mini session in the studio. Yee Haw!
