Pat a cake,

Baker's man

Bake me a cake as fast as you can;

Roll it and pat it and mark it with a 'B',

And put it in the oven for Brendon and me.

Little Brendon is turning one! And what a better way to immortalize this special time than a photo session. After we did some family shots, his Daddy drove all the way home to pick up the very yummy cake his Mommy baked just for his cake smash session. While Dad was gone, we got some photos of Mom and Brendon as well as some individual shots and then it was time for cake! I have to admit, I got a few licks of that frosting too and it was so yummy! I could see why Brendon was having such a good time enjoying his first experience with cake. Happy Birthday Brendon!

They met in a subway station in New York. She is from Pennsylvania, he is from Italy. Their chance meeting was love at first sight and their happily ever after just started. I had the pleasure of joining Heather Coburn of Heather Coburn Photography in our quest to capture images from their big day. The wedding was held on a beautiful farm in Pennsylvania and I can see why they chose the location. Sprawling hillsides overlooking the Susquehanna river made for a gorgeous backdrop for their vows. It was a lovely day for a sweet couple. Congratulazioni!

First comes love, then comes marriage and then comes Roxy instead of a baby carriage. Kristen and Jake are two newlyweds just finding their way in this big world. Newly graduated, newly married and new home owners, they aren't quite ready for a baby - just yet. So they brought home the next best thing, a sweet boxer puppy named Roxy. Their house is now full of the pitter patter of little footsteps minus the late night feedings. She has the sweetest little face and is just so irresistible! Enjoy your new addition guys!

Nolan's mom didn't want to do a cake smash when we did his one year photo session. Instead, she wanted pic of the real thing at his party! It was such a cute cake, seemed a shame to see it get all messed up. But watching Nolan thoroughly enjoy his cake was priceless!

It's hard to believe, but my favorite model, Nolan, is turning one! Their garden was in full bloom and they are about to move, so we headed outside and got some pictures in the beautiful morning light. Then we headed inside and got some shots for Daddy in his military uniform and even a few with Mommy. Nolan continues to be a great pleasure to work with. Even when he decided to skip his nap he managed to keep flashing us big smiles. This kid is a true superstar!

I had the pleasure of photographing two absolutely adorable sisters, Olivia age 4 and her little sister Harper, age 4 months. Olivia is such a great big sister, kind and caring and willing to put up with so many of our requests in order to get a nice picture of the two of them together. Olivia was a little shy at first, but I think she enjoyed being the center of attention for our session. We goofed off and even did a little running around outside. Part of the reason I love photography so much it because we have so much fun during the sessions. It can be a lot of energy, but oh so worth it. Olivia kind of reminded me of Alice In Wonderland and I think we got some shots that captured her sweet disposition.

It was everything a baby shower should be... beautiful decorations, great food, lots of friends and family and a radiant mom-to-be. Even dad-to-be Bryce had a good time helping his wife open gifts. It was so sweet to see Katie ooh and ahh over all the little pink things, especially the crinkle toys! The best part of the shower was watching the interaction between Bryce and Katie. They have great fun together and it was quite evident they are both very excited about bringing home baby!
