Standing and first steps already? Little Caleb is turning ONE! And to document this exciting time, we had a photoshoot complete with a cake smash. Even big brother Bryce was interested in all the excitement. It may have been a little messy, but it was so much fun watching Caleb eat the icing. He kept saying "Mmmm" and going back for more licks, but he wasn't too happy about getting his hands full of cake. We gave him a little encouragement and I think all the effort was worth it. Thank you Courtney for baking such a cute checkerboard cake for our session!

Brothers!
These two little boys really made me (and their mom and dad) work! Bryce is almost 2 and a 1/2 and Caleb is 9 months. The boys are on opposite nap schedules, so coordinating a good time for pictures sometime between nap time and feeding times was a little tricky. We started off with some family portraits and then went on to get individual shots of the boys. Bryce went down for a nap, so we continued on with Caleb. You know what they say, the second child doesn't get as many pictures as the first. We helped bridge that gap a bit for little Caleb with our session. In return, that kiddo kept flashing us those gorgeous baby blues!
