6 weeks old and just shy of 10 pounds, little Finnegan is a laid back baby. His disposition is much like his parents. His momma is a photographer friend of mine, Heather Coburn, and we had a great little photoshoot together today. He was such a good baby! He was wide awake and barely fussed at all. Even though these pics look like he was a sleepy baby, he kept opening one eye just to make sure his mommy was there. Only 6 weeks old and already watching out for his mom. Such a sweetie!

I had a session with baby girl Gabriella, but I had a lot of help behind the scenes from Gabriella's older brothers. They goofed off, tickled, played and did every trick they knew to help get Gabriella to smile for her one year photos. It really touched my heart to see just how much they love their little sister. This baby girl is definitely the center of attention in their house - no third child syndrome here! Then again, she is a beautiful child, who could help but stare into those big brown eyes. Her parents are going to have to lock her up in a few years! She is going to break some hearts!

Standing and first steps already? Little Caleb is turning ONE! And to document this exciting time, we had a photoshoot complete with a cake smash. Even big brother Bryce was interested in all the excitement. It may have been a little messy, but it was so much fun watching Caleb eat the icing. He kept saying "Mmmm" and going back for more licks, but he wasn't too happy about getting his hands full of cake. We gave him a little encouragement and I think all the effort was worth it. Thank you Courtney for baking such a cute checkerboard cake for our session!

She's got a secret garden

We went out of town for the Fourth of July holiday and visited family in New York. While we were there, we had a mini photoshoot for Wesley and his cousin Eilee. It wasn't easy working with two very independent toddlers, but it didn't take too long to get what we were looking for.
